Vision

The vision of the Family Life Center is to prevent eviction and displacement of families by providing essential rental and utility assistance. Additionally, we offer supportive rehousing efforts, food support and comprehensive wraparound services to ensure families become and/or remain stable and secure in their homes.

History

The Family Life Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to serving Comal and Guadalupe counties since 2008. Each year, we assist over 10,000 families by providing essential services. Our primary purpose has always been to support community members who are facing the threat of eviction or displacement due to temporary crises beyond their control.

We work together to maximize the use of our community’s limited resources and will continue participating in collaborative capacity-building activities with the Family Life Center for many years to come. The Family Life Center is very effective in helping at risk families to reach financial independence.
— David Ricker - Director of Community Resources and Partnerships, Communities In Schools of South Central Texas

Working Together

The Family Life Center is widely recognized in the community as a beacon of hope for those in crisis. We work together with various agencies, churches, and organizations to address the needs of under-resourced individuals and families. Our collaboration with these partners is vital in achieving our shared goal of supporting people through challenging times. By combining our efforts and resources, we believe the most effective way to serve our community is through united action and cooperative service.

The Family Life Center has a long-standing history of collaborating with other agencies in the community to provide a comprehensive range of services that address the needs of the most vulnerable. They leverage resources and expertise to create a more significant impact on various issues related to family well-being.
